The exam is conducted by The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI).
As per the company secretaries amendment, all CS aspirants whether they are +2 pass students or graduates have to attend this exam. Passing the CS executive entrance test is mandatory for all students who wish to register for the CS executive exams.
Students should register 9 months prior to the exam dates. All the candidates will have to register with the ICSI- Institute of Company Secretaries of India. Thus, they will be able to receive further notices about the entrance exam.
The CSEET consists of the following subjects:
The CS Executive is the second stage of the CS exams. The exam consists of 8 papers one must clear in order to be eligible for the CS professional level exams. Students who have cleared the CS foundation exams held before can get direct entry. Also, candidates who have passed the final exam of the following - The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or The Institute of Cost Accountants of India are exempted from CSEET and are eligible to get direct entry to the CS executive exams. They should pay ₹5000 as an exemption fee at the time of registration to the CS executive program.
The exams are held for 2 months over the year - June and December. Students who wish to appear for the exam in December should register before 31st March. Students who wish to appear for the exam in June exam should register before 30th September.

The CS exam consists of three stages - CSEET, Executive Programme, and Professional Programme. The exams are conducted during the months of June and December. Students also have the provision to study B. Com along with CS programme. The B. Com degree will be awarded by a UGC approved University.
